The Primacare Monza Contract Express is a healthcare-grade riser recliner chair designed for care homes, nursing homes, hospitals and domestic users who require a high-quality seating solution with fast delivery. Available with express delivery, three chair sizes, three fabric combinations and three mechanism options, the Monza Contract Express combines comfort, practicality and durability whilst maintaining the high standards expected from Primacare healthcare seating.
The Monza features a unique arm design that is narrower at the base, providing improved access for hoists, stand aids and other mobility equipment. Combined with its healthcare-grade upholstery, pressure-relieving cushioning and user-friendly controls, it is an excellent choice for both professional care environments and private homes.
The handset and pocket are supplied on the right-hand sitting side of the chair as standard. Should you require them on the left-hand sitting side, this can be accommodated, although delivery times may increase by approximately one working day.

Mechanisms & Weight Capacity
The Primacare Monza Contract Express is available with three different action types: Single Tilt in Space, Dual Motor and Dual Tilt in Space. Each mechanism has been designed to provide excellent comfort, support and pressure management whilst maintaining a maximum user weight capacity of 20 stone.

Pressure Relief & Comfort
The Primacare Monza Contract Express is supplied with a removable seat system and a waterfall back cushion. The waterfall design allows the individual cushions to be adjusted, helping users achieve the correct level of lumbar, shoulder and neck support.
Medium Risk pressure relief foam is supplied as standard, making the Monza suitable for many healthcare and domestic environments. Enhanced pressure relief options are available as chargeable upgrades for users with more complex seating requirements.

Healthcare Fabrics
The Primacare Monza Contract Express is available in three carefully selected healthcare fabric combinations, designed to complement a wide range of care and domestic environments.
Outer fabrics are supplied from the Ultima Collection by Cristina Marrone. Ultima is a high-performance polyurethane upholstery with a soft-touch faux leather finish, making it ideal for healthcare applications and heavy-duty use.
Inner fabrics are four-way stretch Dartex materials, providing vapour permeability, waterproof protection and excellent pressure-relieving performance. Fabric samples are available upon request.

Delivery & Set Up
We aim to have your Primacare Monza Contract Express delivered within 7 to 10 days of ordering. You will receive a timed delivery slot with plenty of notice, allowing you to prepare for installation.
Professional delivery, assembly and a full demonstration are included as standard. All packaging will be removed as part of the installation process for your convenience.

Pressure Relief
The Primacare Monza Contract Express comes with the Visco Seat Cushion as standard.
The Visco elastic heat sensitive layer issupported by high density Reflex foam. Body heat moulds the visco layer around any high pressure areas and the result is a stable cushion giving good postural support.
Upgradeable Option – CoolGel
The Coolgel cushion uses a Proprietary Silicon Polymer sheet over a high density reflex foam. The Gel has the same physical characteristics as human fat tissue and the softness stays unchanged at any temperature. The polymer is a solid which will not leak if punctured. It is
Hypoallergenic – it does not contain latex or isocyanates and it is odourless. The Coolgel has circular discs of polymer which allows air to circulate between the cells to minimise heat and moisture build up. An even pressure distribution contours to the underlying surface so this cushion can be used all day and still retain its stability.
Upgradeable Option – Alternating Air
The alternating air cushion uses an air pump to continuously inflate and deflate 6 dynamic air cells controlled on a 9minute 36 second cycle. At any one time 4 of the cells are inflated, bringing pressure relief to the other areas.
A 240V electrical supply is required for the pump which is usually positioned next to the chair.
