Recliners HealthCare Express 7 Size Chart
The HCE 7 features a Single Tilt-in-Space mechanism with a maximum lift capacity of 20 stone. One of its key benefits is the ability to adjust both seat height and seat depth, helping the chair accommodate a wider range of users.
The standard seat height is 18 inches. Optional height risers can increase this to either 19 or 20 inches. Seat depth can also be adjusted between 17 and 21 inches, making the chair suitable for changing requirements or shared environments.

Seat Height & Depth Adjustment
The Recliners HealthCare Express 7 has been designed to adapt to the individual rather than expecting the individual to adapt to the chair.
Optional seat height risers allow the chair to be adjusted from its standard 18 inch seat height up to either 19 or 20 inches. The seat depth can also be altered between 17 and 21 inches, helping to achieve improved posture, comfort and support.
This flexibility makes the HCE 7 particularly useful where needs may change over time or where more than one person may use the chair.
Single Tilt-in-Space Mechanism
The HCE 7 features a Single Tilt-in-Space mechanism which reclines the chair whilst maintaining a supportive seating position throughout the movement cycle.
As the chair reclines, the seating system gently tilts to help redistribute pressure and improve comfort. This can be particularly beneficial for users who spend extended periods sitting and require enhanced postural support.
The mechanism is capable of lifting users weighing up to 20 stone and provides a range of comfortable seated and reclined positions.
Lateral Back Support
The Recliners HealthCare Express 7 is supplied with a supportive lateral back design which helps promote improved positioning and posture.
The lateral sections provide enhanced side support whilst the zipped rear access allows fibre adjustment where required. This makes the chair particularly suitable for users with changing postural requirements or those who require additional trunk support.
Pressure Care
Medium risk pressure care comes as standard through the interchangeable seat module system. This helps redistribute pressure whilst maintaining excellent levels of comfort throughout the day.
For users requiring a higher level of pressure management, the seat module can be upgraded to a Gel Ovations high-risk pressure cushion via the Seat Cushion Upgrade option.
The removable seat and back cushions are secured using Velcro fixings, allowing quick access for cleaning, maintenance and infection control procedures. This makes the HCE 7 equally suitable for domestic and professional care settings.
Healthcare Fabrics
To ensure rapid delivery, the HealthCare Express 7 is supplied in a pre-selected healthcare upholstery combination.
The contact surfaces are upholstered in Black Dartex, a vapour-permeable healthcare fabric designed to work effectively with pressure-relieving cushions. The outer upholstery is finished in Highland Steel by Panaz, a durable healthcare-grade fabric suitable for demanding daily use.
This upholstery combination provides excellent durability, ease of cleaning and a professional appearance.

The Recliners HealthCare Express 7 is typically delivered within 10 to 14 days of ordering.
Delivery, assembly, positioning and a full demonstration are included as standard. Our team will install the chair in your chosen room, ensure it is operating correctly and remove all packaging before leaving.
If you require an existing chair to be removed, simply select this option before checkout. Where there are access restrictions or the chair needs to be delivered upstairs, please include details within your order notes so we can prepare accordingly.
