Dual Tilt-in-Space Mechanism
The HCE 8 features a Dual Tilt-in-Space mechanism which allows the backrest and legrest to move independently whilst also providing the pressure-relieving benefits of tilt-in-space positioning.
By changing the angle of the entire seating system, pressure is redistributed more effectively across the body. This can help improve comfort for users who spend extended periods seated whilst maintaining a supportive posture throughout the recline cycle.
The mechanism is rated to lift users weighing up to 20 stone and provides a wide range of comfortable seating positions.
3 Tier-Drop Back Cushion
The Recliners HealthCare Express 8 is supplied with a supportive 3 Tier-Drop Back cushion design. The individual fibre-filled sections can be adjusted to improve comfort and accommodate changing support requirements.
Zipped rear access allows fibre levels to be altered where necessary, making the chair particularly suitable for users with changing postural requirements.
Pressure Care
Medium risk pressure care is supplied as standard through the interchangeable seat module system. This provides effective pressure redistribution whilst maintaining excellent levels of comfort.
For users requiring enhanced pressure management, the seat module can be upgraded to a high-risk Gel Ovations cushion. Simply select this option from the Seat Cushion Upgrade drop down menu.
Both the seat and back cushions are removable and secured using Velcro fixings. This allows quick access for cleaning, maintenance and infection control procedures, making the chair suitable for both home and professional care settings.
Healthcare Fabrics
To ensure rapid delivery, the HealthCare Express 8 is supplied in a carefully selected healthcare upholstery combination.
The contact areas are upholstered in Black Dartex, a vapour-permeable healthcare fabric designed to work effectively with pressure-relieving cushions. The outer sections are finished in Highland Steel by Panaz, a durable and attractive healthcare-grade upholstery fabric.
This combination delivers excellent durability, easy cleaning and a professional appearance suitable for both domestic and care environments.

Recliners HealthCare Express 8 Delivery & Installation
The Recliners HealthCare Express 8 is typically delivered within 10 to 14 days of ordering.
Delivery, assembly, positioning and a full demonstration are included as standard. Our team will install the chair in your chosen room, ensure everything is working correctly and remove all packaging before leaving.
If you require an existing chair to be removed, simply select this option before checkout. Where there are access restrictions or the chair needs to be delivered upstairs, please include details in the order notes so we can prepare accordingly.
