Recliners Harmony-Flex Riser Recliner Key Features
Hoist-Friendly Arm Design
The Harmony-Flex features specially designed faceted arms that improve access for mobile hoists and transfer equipment. This makes the chair particularly suitable for healthcare environments and users who require assisted transfers.
Adjustable Seat Depth
The seat depth adjusts between 17 and 21 inches, helping achieve a more personalised seating position. Adjustments are made using thumb turns located beneath the seat frame, allowing the chair to adapt as requirements change.
Single Tilt-in-Space models also benefit from a dual backrest bracket system which provides additional seat depth adjustment and flexibility.
Flexible Seat Height
Optional 1-inch and 2-inch chair risers allow the seat height and footrest position to adjust, helping achieve the most appropriate seating posture and transfer position.
As standard, the Harmony-Flex comes with button glides which minimise unwanted chair movement, particularly beneficial during transfers.
Choice of Supportive Backrests
The Harmony-Flex is available with a choice of 2 Tier Drop, 3 Tier Drop, Vertical 2 Tier Drop, Fibre Lateral and Foam Lateral backrests. This flexibility allows the chair to accommodate a wide range of comfort and postural support requirements.
Pressure Care Features
The Harmony-Flex includes medium-risk pressure care as standard. The removable seat wrap allows easy maintenance and cleaning, while the Dartex inner fabrics help maximise the effectiveness of the pressure-relieving cushion beneath.
The combination of pressure-relieving foam, waterproof fabrics and vapour-permeable materials makes the Harmony-Flex suitable for both domestic and healthcare environments.
Fabric Options
The Harmony-Flex combines healthcare-grade upholstery with practical pressure management benefits. Inner fabrics are Dartex and offer four-way stretch, waterproof protection and vapour permeability.
Outer fabrics are available from the Highland Stretch range by Panaz, providing a breathable, antimicrobial and stain-resistant finish that is ideal for everyday use. Fabric samples are available on request.
