Single Tilt-in-Space Weight Capacities

The Single Tilt-in-Space mechanism maintains the seat-to-back angle throughout recline, helping with positioning and pressure management.

Understanding The Mechanisms

Single Tilt-in-Space maintains the angle between the seat and backrest as the chair reclines. This can help reduce shear forces and improve positioning.

Dual Standard keeps the seat base fixed while the backrest and legrest move independently, allowing a wide range of seating positions.

Dual Tilt-in-Space combines the positioning benefits of Tilt-in-Space with independent backrest adjustment for additional comfort and flexibility.

Removable Seat Wrap & Pressure Care

The Concerto features a removable seat wrap and interchangeable seat insert system. This design makes routine cleaning easier while also allowing the chair to accommodate a range of high-risk pressure care solutions, including gel and air cushions.

Medium-risk pressure care comes as standard, making the chair suitable for many users who spend prolonged periods seated.

Backrest Options

One of the strengths of the Concerto range is the variety of available backrest designs. Rear zipped access allows fibre adjustment, helping achieve improved comfort and support where required.

In addition to the popular 3-Tier Drop Back, several alternative backrest configurations are available to suit different comfort and postural requirements.

Fabric Options

The Concerto combines healthcare-grade practicality with domestic styling. Inner fabrics are supplied by Dartex and offer waterproof, vapour-permeable protection. Outer upholstery options are available in Highland Stretch fabrics by Panaz, providing a durable and attractive finish.
