The Aura II Turning Mattress is a True Low Air Loss (LAL) Replacement Mattress Support System by Apollo HT, suited to both the hospital and community nursing care environments. The system includes Timed Turning, Alternating, Pulsate, Immersion and Static functions.
The Aura II Turning LAL replacement mattress consists of 19 low air loss 8″ cells incorporating a static base. The multifunctional pump is
for users at a ‘Very High Risk’ of developing pressure ulcers, or for those with existing tissue damage. The cells are ventilated to provide maximum air circulation across the mattress and reduce the build up of heat and moisture on the skin. The subsequent reduction of pressure on the vulnerable bony areas enhances patient comfort, further aiding wound management. The Aura II Turning LAL is a support surface combining turning with full immersion and low air loss. With its microclimate management, it offers an alternative to air-fluidised systems, for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers for the most complex patients.
