The Repose ErgoRise™ Express Chair is a luxury, British-made riser recliner, thoughtfully designed with your comfort and wellbeing in mind. Express delivery and full setup within 10–14 days comes as standard.
The ErgoRise™ accessory allows for smooth, powered adjustment of the headrest and lumbar support, helping you find the perfect position with ease. With a wide range of posture-supporting positions, it’s designed to follow the natural curve of your spine—encouraging better posture and helping to reduce tension in the neck and shoulders.
The easy-to-use control panel is neatly positioned on the outside of the arm, so it’s always within reach. You’ll also find built-in USB-A and USB-C charging ports, making it simple to keep your devices powered up while you relax.
For added comfort and practicality, this chair also includes a premium pocket sprung seat cushion, a magazine pocket, durable castors for easy movement, and a safety device to protect you in the event of a power cut.

We’re delighted to share that all Repose chairs now come with an extended 5-year manufacturing warranty as standard. Starting with all products manufactured from 4th August 2025, your coverage begins automatically from the day your chair leaves the Repose factory. Terms and conditions apply.
This comprehensive warranty ensures peace of mind and lasting quality, with free repairs or replacements for any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

With 12 luxurious fabric options to choose from, you’re sure to find a style that suits your home beautifully. For extra peace of mind, you can request fabric samples to see the colours and textures in your own space before making a decision.
If you’re looking for something more bespoke, just let us know; custom options are available, although extended lead times may apply.
VAT Relief
If you qualify, you won’t pay VAT. It’s quick and simple to apply at checkout.
To get your riser recliner chair VAT free your disability has to qualify. For VAT purposes, you have a disability or have a long-term illness if:
- you have a physical or mental impairment that affects your ability to carry out everyday activities, for example blindness
- you have a condition that’s treated as chronic sickness, like diabetes
- you’re terminally ill
You do not qualify if you’re elderly but do not have a disability, or if you have a temporary disability. There is a simple VAT exemption form at the checkout. Just fill it in and you won’t have to pay the VAT. All prices are shown, excluding VAT.

Repose ErgoRise™ Express Chair Delivery
From the point of order, it will take just 10-14 days for your ErgoRise™ chair to arrive. You will receive a phone call to arrange a suitable date and time for delivery several days in advance. On the day of delivery, we will place your chair in the room of your choice, assemble it and provide you with a comprehensive demonstration for your complete peace of mind. Should you require your old chair removing, be sure to select this option in the Removal tab.
When we contact you with a delivery date, we will provide you with a 4 hour window for delivery.
Back Cushions
Choose 1 of 4 removable back cushion options. 1 back cushion comes as standard but additional ones can be ordered at any stage.
Split Lumbar
Our split lumbar back.
Waterfall
Individual fibre filled waterfall cushions, each of which are fully adjustable to accommodate maximum postural support. The waterfall back can be useful for those with mild Kyphosis, Scoliosis and reduced muscle mass on their back.
Chester Comfort Lateral
Soft fibre filled back with lateral support, which can be useful for those who have limited trunk control or balance. This back offers a different styling to the Chepstow and increased trunk control. It can be useful for those with early stages of neurological conditions such as MS or a Stroke survivor.

Warranty
Below is a summary of the manufacturer standard five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
There is also the option to upgrade to a five-year accidental damage and stain protection Care Plan.
Standard Five-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty
Five years on structural frame, mechanical and electrical components, and foam and cushioning.
Two years on upholstery fabric and stitching.
Repose will, at our discretion, either repair the defective goods, replace the defective component, or provide a replacement product of equivalent value. The warranty does not cover costs associated with transportation, inspection, or removal of the goods for warranty claims.
Any products returned to Repose must be disinfected and should pose no health hazard.
