Mechanisms

The Rise&Recline Bariatric Riser Recliner Chair is available with a choice of specialist mechanisms. Each mechanism raises the user safely into a standing position, but differs in how the chair reclines and supports pressure management.

Single Tilt in Space

A Single Tilt in Space mechanism provides simultaneous movement of the backrest and seat base. As the chair reclines, the entire seating system tilts backwards, helping to redistribute pressure whilst maintaining good posture and support. Dual Motor Standard

A Dual Motor Standard mechanism allows the backrest and legrest to operate independently of one another. The seat base remains largely horizontal throughout recline, giving the user a wide range of comfortable sitting positions whilst retaining straightforward operation.

Pressure Care

The Rise&Recline Bariatric Riser Recliner Chair incorporates Vasco memory foam pressure-relieving cushions within the seat and legrest sections as standard.

For users requiring enhanced pressure management, there is also the option to upgrade from the standard Vasco pressure-relieving seat cushion to a Gel Pressure Seating system. This can help improve pressure redistribution and comfort during prolonged periods of sitting.

Selected models are also available with tilt in space functionality, helping to redistribute pressure across a larger surface area whilst maintaining support and positioning.

Warranty

The Rise&Recline Bariatric Riser Recliner Chair is supplied with a standard 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. This covers the frame, mechanism and mechanics of the product but does not cover stains, fabric wear or tear.
