Mechanism Options
Every Recliners Bariatric Riser Recliner assists the user into a standing position while also providing comfortable reclining and leg elevation.
Choose from Single Tilt-in-Space, Dual Tilt-in-Space and Dual Standard mechanisms. Specialist options are also available, including Variable Angle Lift (VAL), which allows the chair to rise at different angles for easier side transfers, and 85° Trendelenburg for users who regularly sleep in their chair.
Tilt-in-Space mechanisms help maintain positioning by keeping the seat-to-back angle consistent as the chair reclines, which can be particularly beneficial for pressure management and postural support.
Pressure Care & Comfort
The Recliners Bariatric Riser Recliner features integrated medium-risk pressure care as standard. The removable duvet seat design provides easy access to the seating components and allows upgrades to higher levels of pressure management where required.
High-quality Reflex Foam cushioning delivers excellent comfort, support and pressure redistribution, making the chair suitable for prolonged periods of sitting.
Waterproof Fabrics
The inner upholstery uses vapour permeable Dartex fabrics, helping to minimise heat and moisture build-up while supporting pressure care requirements.
Outer fabrics are durable Mardi Gras vinyl upholstery from Spradling. These fabrics are waterproof, hard-wearing and easy to clean, making them suitable for both domestic and healthcare environments. Alternative upholstery options may also be available on request.
