The Opera Signature Upholstered Profiling Bed is a practical and stylish profiling bed to support care needs at home. With the addition of a padded head and footboard, the Signature Upholstered adds a homely touch to any bedroom. The bed has the same advanced features as our Signature bed. This includes an all-in-one height range, where the whole bed raises up to waist level and lowers close to the floor. The Signature Upholstered offers a range of comfortable positions thanks to the elevating back and leg rest, perfect for people with limited mobility or for those that struggle to get comfortable in bed.
Opera Signature Upholstered Profiling Bed Main Features
The Signature Upholstered bed is a luxury profiling bed with lots of features as standard. Choose a pressure care mattress, accessories and delivery options once you’ve made your bed width, wood and upholstery selections.
Raise The Whole Bed
If you have carers or care for someone at home, the Signature Upholstered raises up to make it easier. The bed can be raised up to 73.5cm/ waist level, this reduces back strain from over-bending.
Lower The Bed Down
The Signature Upholstered lowers down to 24.5cm from the ground. This makes it easier to get into bed and swing legs in, whilst giving a safer sleeping height to vulnerable users.
Enjoy Proper Support
Sit up comfortably by raising the backrest for postural support. Lift your legs up by using the elevating leg rest, ideal if you have swelling or reduced circulation.
Opera Signature Upholstered Profiling Bed – Stylish Upholstered Design
The head and footboards of the bed are upholstered in a choice of premium fabrics and provide a soft padded surface. The bed’s homely appearance makes it fit any bedroom interior.
Easy to Adjust
Operate the Signature Comfort with this wired hand control. The control is easy to use and has large ergonomic buttons, the control also clips onto the side of the bed when it’s not in use.
Choose Side Rails
If you or your loved one are at risk of falling from bed, the Signature Upholstered has optional side rails. The full-length wooden side rails are easy to lower from outside the bed.
Three Width Options
If you prefer to have more room the Signature Upholstered comes is available in a choice of widths, 3ft Single, 3ft 6 Wide single, and 4ft Small double.
Easy Brake Castors
The Signature Upholstered has 4 castors which allow the bed to move easily. Once the bed is in the desired position, apply the brakes to keep the bed in position.
Opera Signature Upholstered Profiling Bed – Delivery Options
There are several options when it comes to taking delivery of your Signature Upholstered Profiling Bed. Choose a pallet delivery to your doorstep for self assembly or let us take the strain and set up the bed in the room of your choice. Need your old bed removing too? No problem!
Choose Oak or Walnut wood with either the Linen, Anthracite or Meteor Leather upholstery combinations on any width bed for immediate despatch. All other combinations are made to order and take approximately 4-6 weeks to prepare.
The Signature Profiling Bed, also by Opera, is great alternative and is available with a low footboard for unrestricted views.

The Opera® Serene is designed for users with a high risk of developing a pressure sore. The mattress is foam which makes it a suitable preventative surface to those classified as high risk and very likely to develop a pressure sore.
Pressure Relieving CMHR Foam
The Opera® Serene is constructed from single grade CMHR foam which provides a soft lying surface for the user. The foam is castellated on both sides to ease profiling and variable size nodes enhance pressure relief.
Firmness: Soft/Medium
Rated as soft to medium firmness, the Opera® Serene is constructed of foam which contours to the user’s body. The firmness from the foam allows the required pressure relief to be applied to vulnerable areas of the skin.
Wipe-Clean Knitted Nylon PU Cover
The Opera® Serene has a PU coated cover made from a 2-way stretch, vapour-permeable knitted nylon. The water resistant cover has sewn seams and zip closure on three sides for foam access.
4-Way Turn
The Opera® Serene has a 4-way turn, this means the mattress can be re-positioned head to toe as well as overturned. In doing so this maximises the lifespan of the mattress and allows it to continue in preventing pressure sores to high risk users.
Audit Box with White Substrate Material
Opera® mattresses have an audit box printed on the cover to assist care operators in carrying out the recommended annual audits. White substrate material on the inside of the cover also helps operators identify any moisture breaches.

The Opera® Ultimate is designed for users with a high to very high risk of developing a pressure sore. The mattress is constructed of high density foam to provide comfort but essential pressure relief and helps to prevent reoccurring pressure sores.
Comfortable Layered Foam Construction
The Ultimate is constructed from a U-shape foam core with a castellated premium foam centre and high density foam base and edging. The centre foam offers comfort and pressure relief whilst the firm base and edge foam give stability and support.
Firmness: Medium/Firm
The Opera® Ultimate Mattress is medium to firm. The mattress gives the user support and stability and provides the needed pressure relief to very vulnerable areas of the skin that are prone to developing pressure sores
Supportive High-Density Edging Foam
The Opera® Ultimate has high-density edging foam that runs down either side of the mattress. This provides a firm, supportive edge that eases transferring on and off the mattress. The mattress is also able to return its original shape and distributes weight evenly.
Wipe-Clean Antimicrobial Cover
The wipe clean cover is impregnated with antimicrobial agents ensuring the mattress covers are resistant to bacterial and fungal growth. The 10,000ppm Chlorine resistance will resist damage even where chlorine builds up through multiple cleaning cycles.
Vapour-Permeable for Moisture Control
The presence of moisture is known as a subjective indicator of pressure ulcer development. Two-way stretch mattress covers with vapour-permeability allow for better micro climate control, thereby reducing moisture presence.

The Opera® Flo Air Mattress System is designed for the use for high risk users that are subject to developing pressure sores. It is also suitable to treat existing tissue damage because of pressure related sores and injury.
Alternating Therapy Air Cells
The Opera® Flo is made up of 16 air cells that alternate to redistribute pressure across the user’s body. The alternating air cells are powered by a pump unit which has weight adjustment.
Full Replacement System
The Flo is a full replacement mattress designed to be placed straight on a profiling bed base. It can be secured to the bed base by elasticated mattress retention straps.
Vapour-Permeable Cover
The Flo’s vapour-permeable PU cover means water resistance is combined with breathability. This helps skin integrity by reducing the retention of moisture and heat build-up.
