The Opera Signature Bariatric Profiling Bed is of the same high standard that you would expect from any Opera bed with a weight capacity of up to 41 stone. Height adjustable from 245 mm up to 730 mm to the mattress platform, the backrest and leg rest effortlessly alter to suit an individual’s needs at a touch of the soft-press buttons on the hand control. There are three wood finishes to choose from. Add side rails for extra security. The Signature Bariatric mattress platform is 1200mm in width, providing that extra bit of comfort.

All-in-one Height Range
The Signature Bariatric raises up to 73cm to help deliver on-bed care and lowers down to 24.5cm to prevent injury from bed falls and to facilitate easier entry and exit into and from bed.
Easy to Use Handset
Comes with a premium ergonomically-designed handset with soft-touch buttons that controls the bed. Includes a locking feature for the operator to deactivate all or specific functions where there are safety concerns.
Wide and Heavy-Duty
Designed with a sturdier frame and wider sleeping platform to accommodate larger and heavier persons. The support of the bed allows an individual to be comfortable whilst in a fixed or adjusted position.

There are several options when it comes to receiving your Opera Signature Bariatric Profiling Bed. The free pallet delivery option means your bed will arrive within 3-5 working days. There’s a next working day option as well as a Saturday delivery too. For all of these options, you will have to assemble the bed yourself.

Pressure Risk Category: High/Very High
The Opera® Ultimate is designed for those with a high to very high risk of developing pressure sores. The mattress is constructed of high density foam to provide comfort but essential pressure relief and helps to prevent reoccurring pressure sores.
Comfortable Layered Foam Construction
The Ultimate is constructed from a U-shape foam core with a castellated premium foam centre and high density foam base and edging. The centre foam offers comfort and pressure relief whilst the firm base and edge foam give stability and support.
Firmness: Medium/Firm
The Opera® Ultimate Mattress is medium to firm. The mattress gives the user support and stability and provides the needed pressure relief to very vulnerable areas of the skin that are prone to developing pressure sores
Supportive High-Density Edging Foam
The Opera® Ultimate has high-density edging foam that runs down either side of the mattress. This provides a firm, supportive edge that eases transferring on and off the mattress. The mattress is also able to return its original shape and distributes weight evenly.
Wipe-Clean Antimicrobial Cover
The wipe clean cover is impregnated with antimicrobial agents ensuring the mattress covers are resistant to bacterial and fungal growth. The 10,000ppm Chlorine resistance will resist damage even where chlorine builds up through multiple cleaning cycles.
Vapour-Permeable for Moisture Control
The presence of moisture is known as a subjective indicator of pressure ulcer development. Two-way stretch mattress covers with vapour-permeability allow for better micro climate control, thereby reducing moisture presence.

The Opera® Flo Air Mattress System is designed for the use for high risk users that are subject to developing pressure sores. It is also suitable to treat existing tissue damage because of pressure related sores and injury.
Alternating Therapy Air Cells
The Opera® Flo is made up of 16 air cells that alternate to redistribute pressure across the user’s body. The alternating air cells are powered by a pump unit which has weight adjustment.
Full Replacement System
The Flo is a full replacement mattress designed to be placed straight on a profiling bed base. It can be secured to the bed base by elasticated mattress retention straps.
Vapour-Permeable Cover
The Flo’s vapour-permeable PU cover means water resistance is combined with breathability. This helps skin integrity by reducing the retention of moisture and heat build-up.
Super Quiet Pump Unit
The Opera® Flo Air Mattress System is equipped with a Super Quiet Pump Unit. The minimal noise from the pump means users will not be disturbed when sleeping or be a nuisance.
Antimicrobial Cover
The cover is impregnated with antimicrobial agents ensuring the mattress is resistant to bacterial and fungal growth. The cover is also fully wipe clean and machine washable for easy maintenance.
