Dual Tilt-in-Space with Variable Angle Lift
The HealthCare Express 3 combines a Dual Tilt-in-Space mechanism with Variable Angle Lift (VAL), giving users a wide range of positioning options. Tilt-in-Space technology helps redistribute pressure while maintaining a supportive seating position, making it beneficial for people who spend long periods seated.
The backrest and legrest can be adjusted independently, allowing the chair to be tailored to individual comfort requirements. Variable Angle Lift enables the chair to rise at one of three different angles, including a near-flat rise position that can be particularly useful for side transfers.

Pressure Care & Postural Support
Medium-risk pressure care comes as standard. The interchangeable seat module can accommodate alternative gel and pressure-relieving cushions if a higher level of pressure management is required.
The chair is supplied with a Lateral Back cushion which provides enhanced trunk support and positioning. Rear zipped access allows minor fibre adjustments to help tailor the cushion to individual requirements.
Removable seat and back cushions make cleaning and maintenance straightforward, helping the chair meet the demands of both domestic and professional care environments.

Healthcare Upholstery
The HealthCare Express 3 is upholstered in carefully selected healthcare fabrics that offer durability, hygiene and pressure care benefits.
The inner fabric is Black Vapour Permeable (VP) Dartex. This waterproof and breathable four-way stretch material helps maximise the performance of the pressure-relieving cushion beneath.
The outer fabric is Highland Steel by Panaz, a healthcare-grade upholstery that is waterproof, antimicrobial, stain resistant and easy to clean.
