Description
The Freeway Falls Recovery Sling allows carers to safely transfer a person that needs assistance immediately after a fall. The sling has a maximum weight capacity of 200kg. It has a versatile, one size fits all design, so is suitable for both adults and children.
This Falls Recovery Sling allows for a fallen person to be rolled onto the sling whilst in a lying position. Once moved onto to the sling, easily slide the person to a more open area if necessary, for the suitable positioning of a hoist. It is then possible to hoist them up off the floor and transfer safely into a chair or bed.

Initial Safety Checks
Before moving a patient, be sure to carry out these initial safety checks:-
- Check the person for any serious injuries.
- If the person is seriously injured, the emergency services must be contacted.
- If the person is slightly injured, perform basic first aid and make the person comfortable.
- Assess the surroundings of the person, ensure that the surrounding environment is safe.
- Ensure that the person is in a suitable condition that the can be moved and/or hoisted.
- Summon assistance to move the person onto the falls recovery sling.
