Independent Backrest Recline
The Repose Harlem Porter Express Chair features a manual independent backrest recline system operated from the push handle.
The adjustable backrest reclines between 95º and 120º, helping users achieve supportive positioning for comfort, posture and pressure management.
The recline position locks securely once the operating lever is released.
Pressure Management Back Cushions
The Harlem Porter Express Chair is available with a choice of six interchangeable pressure management back cushions.
The interchangeable cushion system allows the chair to adapt easily to changing healthcare needs and different users.
All cushions can be repositioned to improve comfort and posture, while fibre-filled cushions can be adjusted by adding or removing fibre.
The removable covers also help improve hygiene management and simplify cleaning.
Pressure Management Seat Cushions
The Repose Harlem Porter Express Chair includes a choice of four interchangeable pressure management seat cushions.
A Viscoform pressure management cushion is included as standard, with upgraded pressure relief options available.
The cushions and covers are removable for easier cleaning and long-term maintenance.
For improved reduction of shear and friction, we recommend selecting upholstery fabrics with four-way stretch properties.
Seat Angle & Seat Depth Adjustment
The adjustable seat angle system helps reduce the risk of users slipping from the chair due to involuntary movements while improving postural positioning.
The seat angle range adjusts from 0º to 15º for improved positioning and comfort.
The seat depth is also adjustable between 17″ and 21″, allowing the chair to accommodate different body shapes and seating requirements.
Optional seat adjuster pads are available to further increase the adjustment range.
Sliding Footplate
The sliding footplate allows users to place their feet securely while being transported.
When retracted, the footplate allows uninterrupted access for hoist transfers.
