The Opera Signature Comfort Plus Profiling Bed is designed and styled for care in the home. An all-encompassing profiling bed with a range of features to make life easier for the person using it and their carers. The bed lowers close to the floor to assist with access and swinging legs onto the bed. The Opera Signature Comfort Plus raises up to a carer’s waist height enabling nursing care and support on the bed. Three-part split side rails raise and lower independently, helping to prevent falls. The side rails act as a grab handle when getting in and out too, as well as making a handy place to hook the handset control.

The perfect solution for users who have difficulty getting in and out of bed because of restricted mobility or limited upper body strength. Achieve the perfect height for access with the all in one height adjustment. Use the side rails as grab handles for support.
Nursing Height
The bed raises up to a nursing height of 73.5cm, the equivalent of a carer’s waist level. This allows carer’s to administer care on the bed comfortably and reduces the risk of back strain.
Multi-Purpose Side Rails
The side rails are made up of three adjustable rails on each side of the bed giving excellent flexibility and functionality. As well as being able to raise them to prevent falls, they lower for unimpaired access. Part raise them to act as grab handles for support.
Back and Leg Adjustment
The bed back rest raises to an upright seated position. The leg rest elevates at the knees for comfort and the feet raise up to improve circulation and reduce leg swelling.
Easy to Operate
The Opera Signature Comfort Plus Profiling Bed is fully electrically adjustable with all adjustments operated by an easy-to-use wired handset control. The control has large easy-to-understand buttons and the handset hooks on to the side of the bed when not in use.

Despite the bed’s advanced clinical functionality, it has been thoughtfully styled for the home environment. Make it your own with size, headboard, material and wood finish options.
Strong Durable Construction
The steel frame construction of Opera high-low beds ensure longevity and can accommodate robust use. The bed has a safe working load of more than 30st and a bariatric version is also available for heavier users.
Lockable Castors
Easily reposition the bed in the room with its four castors. When the bed is in the desired position, all four castors are lockable, ensuring the bed is secure and doesn’t move.
Opera Signature Comfort Plus Delivery Options
There are several options when it comes to taking delivery of your Signature Comfort Plus profiling bed. There’s a free doorstep delivery which typically takes between 3 and 5 working days. Choose next day delivery for stock items and items will be with you the very next day*.
Both of these delivery options will require you to assemble the bed yourself.

Pressure Risk Category: High
The Opera® Serene is designed for users with a high risk of developing a pressure sore. The mattress is foam which makes it a suitable preventative surface to those classified as high risk and very likely to develop a pressure sore.
Pressure Relieving CMHR Foam
The Opera® Serene is constructed from single grade CMHR foam which provides a soft lying surface for the user. The foam is castellated on both sides to ease profiling and variable size nodes enhance pressure relief.
Firmness: Soft/Medium
Rated as soft to medium firmness, the Opera® Serene is constructed of foam which contours to the user’s body. The firmness from the foam allows the required pressure relief to be applied to vulnerable areas of the skin.
Wipe-Clean Knitted Nylon PU Cover
The Opera® Serene has a PU coated cover made from a 2-way stretch, vapour-permeable knitted nylon. The water resistant cover has sewn seams and zip closure on three sides for foam access.
4-Way Turn
The Opera® Serene has a 4-way turn, this means the mattress can be re-positioned head to toe as well as overturned. In doing so this maximises the lifespan of the mattress and allows it to continue in preventing pressure sores to high risk users.
Audit Box with White Substrate Material
Opera® mattresses have an audit box printed on the cover to assist care operators in carrying out the recommended annual audits. White substrate material on the inside of the cover also helps operators identify any moisture breaches.

Pressure Risk Category: High/Very High
The Opera® Ultimate is designed for users with a high to very high risk of developing a pressure sore. The mattress is constructed of high density foam to provide comfort but essential pressure relief and helps to prevent reoccurring pressure sores.
Comfortable Layered Foam Construction
The Ultimate is constructed from a U-shape foam core with a castellated premium foam centre and high density foam base and edging. The centre foam offers comfort and pressure relief whilst the firm base and edge foam give stability and support.
Firmness: Medium/Firm
The Opera® Ultimate Mattress is medium to firm. The mattress gives the user support and stability and provides the needed pressure relief to very vulnerable areas of the skin that are prone to developing pressure sores
Supportive High-Density Edging Foam
The Opera® Ultimate has high-density edging foam that runs down either side of the mattress. This provides a firm, supportive edge that eases transferring on and off the mattress. The mattress is also able to return its original shape and distributes weight evenly.
Wipe-Clean Antimicrobial Cover
The wipe clean cover is impregnated with antimicrobial agents ensuring the mattress covers are resistant to bacterial and fungal growth. The 10,000ppm Chlorine resistance will resist damage even where chlorine builds up through multiple cleaning cycles.
Vapour-Permeable for Moisture Control
The presence of moisture is known as a subjective indicator of pressure ulcer development. Two-way stretch mattress covers with vapour-permeability allow for better micro climate control, thereby reducing moisture presence.

The Opera® Flo Air Mattress System is designed for the use for high risk users that are subject to developing pressure sores. It is also suitable to treat existing tissue damage because of pressure related sores and injury.
Alternating Therapy Air Cells
The Opera® Flo is made up of 16 air cells that alternate to redistribute pressure across the user’s body. The alternating air cells are powered by a pump unit which has weight adjustment.
Full Replacement System
The Flo is a full replacement mattress designed to be placed straight on a profiling bed base. It can be secured to the bed base by elasticated mattress retention straps.
Vapour-Permeable Cover
The Flo’s vapour-permeable PU cover means water resistance is combined with breathability. This helps skin integrity by reducing the retention of moisture and heat build-up.
Super Quiet Pump Unit
