RotoBed® Free Rotating Chair Bed Main Features
This section informs you of the features that either come as standard with this bed or are available as optional accessories. For the detailed dimensions and specifications including safe working loads, see the Specifications tab.
Comes with SleepSafe Mattress
All of Opera’s RotoBeds come with a mattress as standard. The SafeSleep Mattress is a four-layer, quality mattress, offering prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers in stages 1-3.
Effortless Exit
By a single touch of a button on the remote control, the mattress platform transforms from a lying position to a chair facing out into your room. It takes less than one minute. The height adjustment on the Free can also be used to support you when standing.
Height Adjustment
The RotoBed® Free Roating Chair Bed’s electric height adjustment has many benefits. Utilise it to ease on-bed nursing, arrange bedding and raise it to exit chair position to help you to stand.
Safe and Assuring
RotoBed® beds have been carefully engineered and comprehensively tested to ensure you feel supported and comfortable throughout the rotation from chair to bed. Stylish wooden arm sides also provide assistance and help to prevent falls. Optional head sides are also available.
The RotoBed® Free Rotating Chair Bed – Stylish and Homely
The Free has been thoughtfully designed to be in-keeping with the home environment. Elegantly shaped wood and upholstered ends make for an impressive item of furniture.
Easy Brake Castors
Castors at each corner of the RotoBed® Free Roating Chair Bed mean the bed is manoeuvred easily. The robust castor wheels are braked by a simple foot pedal at each end of the bed, locking off the pair of castors in one go.
Optional Accessories
A range of optional accessories enable you to enhance the RotoBed® experience even further. Add-ons include a reading lamp, underbed lighting that turns on as the bed rotates to exit position, armside table and pillow with backrest securing straps.
