Harvest Woburn Ultra Low Bed has been upgraded to a higher quality specification and now comes with auto-regression as standard.
With unique features allowing the platform to be lowered 67mm off floor level, the Ultra-Low Bed provides user safety and reliability.
Being able to lower to just 67mm from floor level, the bed is built for use without the need for side rails. Should the user be inclined to roll whilst in bed, and potentially fall, the bed reduces impact and allows the user to safely roll onto the floor, or a fall mat.
The Trendelenburg Function is supplied with the bed as standard, which allows the user to be positioned upright if necessary. This feature can create a seated effect if applied with the knee break.
Ideal for many environments within the Care and Community sectors, the bed is fully compliant with legislation.
Our Woburn Ultra Low bed is also available with an enclosed headboard and footboard in oak.

Description
The Harvest Woburn Ultra-Low is a fully functioning four-section profiling bed that lowers to 67mm from the floor for patient safety.
Electronically setting of height, back rest or knee brake is simple, using the lockable handset. The Woburn Ultra-Low has a Trendelenburg function as standard.
Being able to lower to just 67mm from floor level, you need not have the side rails. Should a person be inclined to roll whilst in bed, and potentially fall, the bed reduces impact and allows a person to safely roll onto the floor, or a fall mat.

Prime Comfort Mattress
The Prime Comfort Static Mattress is a quality mattress made of high resiliency foam, therefore offering great pressure relief.
It still remains cost effective for any care environment. The foam is castellated for comfort and to facilitate air movement inside the mattress, reducing heat build up. The castellations are zonal for effective pressure relief.
The Prime Comfort Static Mattress is suitable for those at High Risk of getting a pressure ulcer. It holds a maximum patient weight is 28 Stone/177kg.

Prime Comfort Plus Mattress
The Prime Comfort Plus Static Mattress is an excellent static mattress, which provides great patient comfort.
Side wall construction encases the foam, enhancing stability for the patient and assisting in patient transfer. A castellated foam top allows excess heat to escape from beneath the foam, preventing the patient from overheating whilst laid on the mattress.

Visco Multizone Mattress
The Visco MultiZone mattress is our enhanced static mattress. Positioning specialist foam “Zones” across key areas of the mattress allows for more pressure relief around the most vulnerable anatomical areas of the body. Memory foam visco-elastic, provides superior pressure redistribution, reducing the risk of developing a pressure ulcer.
As standard across our mattress range, the Visco MultiZone mattress is complete with a vapour permeable, water-resistant cover. It can be used for residents with up to a grade 2 pressure ulcer.

Sandringham Active Mattress
The Sandringham Active Mattress is Harvest Healthcare’s basic replacement mattress with 18 alternating cells and an integral 50mm layer of foam providing an overall depth of 160cm. A pillow section has 2 static cells for stability and comfort. The cells are made of TPU material to reduce noise disturbance when cells alternately inflate and deflate on a 10-minute cycle.
The Sandringham Active Mattress comes with a 4-way stretch welded PU cover which is vapour permeable, water resistant and has a Crib 5 fire rating.
Being easy to maintain with interchangeable cells, this product provides the customer with excellent value for money when choosing an alternating mattress replacement to achieve pressure reduction for high-risk patients in long-term care.
It is compatible with Harvest pumps 1 and 2, allowing for a range of maximum patient weights.

Hampton II Active Mattress
The Hampton II is Harvest Healthcare’s durable active replacement mattress, designed for the prevention and management of pressure ulcers. It is recommended for use by patients at very high risk of developing pressure ulcers and supports the treatment of up to stage 4 pressure ulcers.
It has 20 cells made of Nylon with a TPU lining to reduce noise when the cells inflate and deflate and a pillow section for patient stability.
The connector has a transport cap to maintain the air pressure within the mattress for easy patient transport arrangements. When using the transport cap, the mattress will stay inflated for approximately 24 hours. For rapid deflation of the system, simply pull open the CPR and disconnect the pump.
The mattress comes with a 4-way stretch welded PU cover, which is vapour permeable and water resistant, and it has a Crib 5 fire rating.
The Hampton II mattress is an all-rounder for comfort and pressure area care solutions.
The mattress is available in 900mm and 1050mm widths.
It is compatible with all of the Harvest pumps, allowing for a range of maximum patient weights.

Balmoral II Active Mattress
The Balmoral II Replacement is Harvest Healthcare’s top of the range pressure reducing active mattress used in the prevention and management of pressure ulcers. It is recommended for use by a patient who is at very high-risk of developing pressure ulcers, and supports the treatment of up to stage 4 pressure ulcers.
It is made up of 27 individual cells: 23 alternating air cells and 4 static pillow section cells, on a 50mm thick layer of foam. Cells are made of pure PU and are all interchangeable for ease of repair and cleaning. In addition, the mattress is designed to ensure bedrail compliance on any UK manufactured profiling bed.
The connector has a transport cap to maintain the air pressure within the mattress for easy patient transport arrangements. When using the transport cap, the mattress will stay inflated for approximately 24 hours. For rapid deflation of the system, simply pull open the CPR and disconnect the pump.
The Balmoral II has been designed to protect the end user in the event of a power outage; foam is fitted underneath the alternating cells.

Duke Active Mattress
The Duke Active Mattress is a high-quality mattress.
Designed for a frailer person who could be vulnerable to developing pressure ulcers, the system provides a very high degree of pressure relief whilst protecting the patient.
It is recommended for use by a patient who is at very high-risk of developing pressure ulcers, and support the treatment of up to stage 4 pressure ulcers.
The mattress is made up of 30 individual cells: 25 alternating air cells and 5 static pillow section cells. All air cells are individually replaceable should any damage occur.
A 50mm integral foam base rests beneath the removable cell structure, providing more support and redistributes pressure where necessary. The two structures are separated by a water resistant, PU cover – enabling both compartments to be removed for decontamination purposes.
The welded seams of the cover also prevent water ingress, and further protect the inner structure of the mattress system. The cover has a Crib 5 fire rating.
It is compatible with Harvest pumps 2 and 3.

Hybrid Mattresses

Hybrid mattresses enable carers to step up or step down the treatment of patients by either adding or removing a pump.
This offers flexibility when caring for patients that could become at risk of a pressure ulcer. It means that people can benefit from the high levels of comfort that foam offers and the pressure relieving abilities of an active mattress when needed.
Using one mattress for both functions helps reduce logistic costs and avoids disruption for the person using it as there is no need to change the mattress.
Prime Comfort Active Mattress
The Prime Comfort Active mattress combines all the benefits of our Prime Comfort Plus mattress, plus so much more. The addition of cells give the ability to step up or step down patient care with or without a pump.

Harvest 1 Pump
The Harvest 1 Pump is Harvest Healthcare’s manually operated pump.
It is ideal for use in community and care home settings as it has a simple interface with a dial.
It is easy to connect and disconnect and is lightweight, creating ease of use for the carer.
Compatible with the Kensington overlay, Sandringham replacement, Hampton replacement and the Prime Comfort Active mattresses.
Harvest 250 Pump
Harvest 250 pump is our mid-range pump designed to provide controlled compressed air to a pressure care mattress.
The inflated cells within the supplied mattress provide an option of alternating or constant low pressure functions designed to reduce interface pressure on the skin and therefore reduces risk of the development of pressure ulcers.
It is ideal for use in both community and nursing home settings. A range of features are available with the Harvest 250 including alternating, constant low pressure, max inflate, comfort control and a seated function. Audible, visual, power failure, cycle fault and low pressure alarms, and LED display.
The Harvest 250 pump fits all Harvest Healthcare active overlays and standard replacement mattresses.
Harvest 3 Pump
The Harvest 3 is Harvest Healthcare’s high-end digital pump.
It is ideal for use in all settings including acute as it caters for bariatric products and more complicated clinical needs.
It is easy to use and features an L.E.D display, lock-out mode, static mode, maxi-firm mode and four cycle times. It also has visual and audible alarms for low pressure and power failure.
It has a very high capacity, fitting all Harvest active mattresses including their bariatric range.
Accessories
Bed Wall Spacers (Pair)
These spacers are designed to reduce the risk of the bed being placed too close to the wall and colliding with power sockets or other features.
This can be costly to fix and often requires an emergency call out, the Bed Wall Spacer can eliminate these costs.
It increases safety by reducing the risk of electric shock due to socket damage.
The Bed Wall Spacer also protects the bed chassis from damage if being operated against window sills/skirting boards or other features, which can be expensive to fix.
The spacer can be fitted to any corner of the bed within minutes tool-free.
It is designed to be fitted to the bed at any point where the bed would come into contact with a wall and should be kept at a safe distance and reduce the possibility of collision.
Grab Handle
The Grab Handle is a device used to assist the user when getting in and out of bed.
Handles fit securely to the bed platform, providing the weighted support necessary when in use.
Side rails don’t have to be removed whilst it is in use.
Emergency Bed Lower Kit
A necessity for all owners of the Woburn Bed Range, the Emergency Bed Lower Kit is to be used in the event of a power failure on a bed.
Please note, if in the event of an emergency, a bed is set in the profiling position, it will need to be lowered before beginning evacuation.
Mesh Side Rails
The Mesh Side Rail system is intended to be used to provide security to the occupant of the bed whilst the bed is raised to a correct height for giving care.
The Woburn Ultra-Low bed is designed to be lowered to the floor when the occupant in the bed is left unattended, this is to reduce the risk of a fall from the bed or potential entrapment from a side rail system.
When the bed is lowered to the floor it is recommended the side rail system is locked down by connecting the two halves of the plastic buckle at the centre on the outside edge.
It can be used with the enclosed head and foot boards with some adjustments.
Ultra Low Bed Extension Piece
Extends the length of the bed by an additional 200mm to counter the feeling of entrapment experienced by some.

To be used in conjunction with the Ultra Low Bed Extension Piece.

Overbed Table
The Overbed Table is designed for use with profiling beds, providing users with a surface area to eat, read or place their belongings.

The Connoisseur Overbed Table is a high quality, two tier table.

Lifting Pole
This Lifting Pole assists the user to sit upright in bed.
By holding onto the handle, which is supplied with the lifting pole, the patient is able to adjust themselves as required, with little or no aid from a carer.
